"Ask not what your country can do for you---ask what you can do for your country" -John F. Kennedy
If we take President Kennedy's quote seriously, we might be tempted to actually do Naikan exercises on America. In Constructive Living, we don't normally tackle such large subjects for our Naikan reflection, but in honor of Independence Day, we'll give it a go. Try it and see what happens...remember, Naikan answers should be concrete and specific, abstract and vague.
1) What have you done for America?
2) What has America done for you?
3) What harm/trouble* have you caused America?
*Edit: this can be small troubles or bothers, such as throwing away a penny ;)
